yeah I was going to do the box for the Batmobile.
Just never got around to it.

And by the way...not a "funny" since the body didn't detach, but it is/was a drag racer....
one of the Batmobiles was built to tour Race tracks across the US and race down the quarter mile (in the 60s).

Yes! I saw one of the exhibition Batmobiles at my local drag strip. I believe it was in the very early '70s. The one I saw was flocked. Called "Bat-Fuzz", electro static nylon fibers were sprayed over wet epoxy paint to yield a velvety fuzzy finish.

I built 2 plastic 1/16 Revell funny cars as a kid, the Hawaiian and The Snowman. I thought I would try making them in paper. Both are "small" bodied Chargers. The chassis is Koolwheelz and the body is by me. I didn't realize the poor quality of my build until I took pictures. I hope my build of Gene Snow's Snowman will be better.

Thanks for looking,
Brent

Nice! Photos always seem to highlight what we don't want to show (or may not have even noticed)

I think these have all turned out great. I need to build a few for my brother, a big drag racing fan. He still races a mostly stock 1974 Duster from time to time.

Doug - these are Brents repaints and mods of my Koolwheelz models.
He produces them for his own private use.
I am not distributing these models.

But I do have a few Drag Racers and more to come.

Brent - have you seen the updated Batmobile?
I redesigned the '66 earlier this year, I think it looks and builds a lot better!
Please give it a try.

Yes, I have seen the new batmobile and it is on my long list to build.
A picture of my Gene Snow Charger waiting to be built is below.
