Diorama: le fardier de Cugnot

Hello everyone,
"Robototehnik" #54 offers us a model of the "Fardier de Cugnot".
free download link => here
I wanted to build it for a long time, for its originality and its historical aspect.
Superbly well-designed 1:50 scale model in which I have only changed a few parts for metal wire and thickened some others.
Knowing this machine has only remained as a prototype (2 units in all), the staging with figurines proposed by its designer is a
representation of what it was imagined for: a cannon holder.
The figurines are also extremely well studied, especially at this scale. On the other hand, obviously they are complex to build and to transform in order to give them the special poses as I wanted.
The designer has taken / copied the uniforms and the flag used during the demonstration of the Fardier did at the Retromobile Show in Paris in 2011, several photos of which can be found on the web. They are in the spirit of the 18e century French Royal Army but after researchs,it seems pure fiction and not historical.
In the vision of what the function of this machine could have been, I integrated it into a small diorama:
The cannon holder is stopped... the gunners are in action (modified figurines), one emptying the ashes and the other bringing wood to fill up.
The barrel behind the seat must be intended to carry the water for the boiler...

A perfect little vignette. Your display elevates paper modeling to an artform. Beautiful!
