Talking Stephanies Snack Shack from The Short Circuit Movie

I repainted, and added some parts, to MiniModel.cz file FE2934. I've submitted the modifications to MiniModel.cz and they may, or may not, add it to their collection. The can do what they wish with my artwork.

I rescaled the model to 1:87 HO Scale. I'll be trying to make some more of the vehicles from the movie.

Some notes about the model: I did not create a custom font so the wording on the signs is not 100% accurate. I added a lot of texture for the diamond pattern stainless steel but is is only vaguely visible when printing in the highest quality at this scale. I could not figure out what is written on 4 of the 10 bumper stickers on the van. I was having trouble finding out what was the image on the sign by the drivers side door. I found one frame in the movie that showed Oregon on the bottom of the circle, and later in the movie I found another frame (As the van was driving up to the bar) that showed Astoria at the top of the circle. Did a few searches and couldnt find anything. I decided to go to the official City of Astoria website and there it was, the City Logo/Seal.

I will give it a few weeks and if they do not have it available then I will request permission to share the file I modified. Until then, enjoy the photos.

Nice. There's a certain feel of accomplishment when we recreate something that has given us pleasant memories.

What's your next project?

The NOVA van, then the interiors of the vans. I would like to find all the vehicles from the movie. as well as the NOVA building, if it is even possible to find a layout. I am waiting for the details of the house.

I think Johny 5 would be difficult at 1:87 since the arms and fingers would be so small. But all the files of the real robot are available through Input-Inc . It has already been done full size in paper that I've seen on YouTube but cannot find the link.

randyfivesix User Profile | DeviantArt is a smaller one, but it would need scaling down
