The truck/trailer is coming along well. Well done.

We're on the home stretch now.

This is the exhausting part

Exhaust stacks cut out

Assembled

Mounted

And the air filters, cut out and assembled.

This part was very tiring. 10 of them in fact

Glue 4 sets front to front to form duelies.

Attach 2 singles up front for the steers and 4 duelies in back for the drive tires. Glue an air filter on each side of the hood

And it's done
1/33 Scale Peterbilt 379 with 53' Dry Van Trailer-img_20210902_222306.jpg

Hook up the trailer and drive off into the sunset

I need to do some cleanup on the model files, add some graphics that I forgot, and adjust the trailer. It looks too long to me. So I need to determine how long a 53 foot trailer is supposed to be at 1/33 scale and adjust it's length. Hopefully it'll come out on Friday.

Double check the trailer, but I think it looks right. Nice model

I didn't. I couldn't pull the money together in time to make it. I'm definitely gonna try for next year.

I plan on having a Sea Jeep for next year.

That's okay, Murph. We missed you, but talked a lot about you behind your back. Bob DelPizzo of the old green Tam O'shanter crowd was there and there was reminiscing about the days when giants walked the earth.

I hope I wasn't included amongst the giants. I never quite reached 6' tall (missed it by a quarter inch), and I've managed to keep myself at a svelte 260 lbs.
