Tucker Snow-Cat

Hi,
I needed some time-off from my current build HMB Endeavour (needed to plan further steps with the ship in advance) and I went through my pile of unbuilt already printed kits. This Tucker came around and I remembered instantly Paper Kosmonaut's Tucker diorama build, the very reason I printed it on my model queue. And it's not big sidestep of my ship build, this Tucker was an expedition vehicle too.

This was printed smaller than the original (which is 1/35 I guess) and is something between 1/60-70 I guess.

I didn't follow the original building instruction in terms of placing all the externals where they should be and took some liberties to position where I wanted them to be. One reason for this was to hide some blemishes that occurred buring the build. :D

Anyways, you don't see these built too often so I hope you enjoy this little try. Models is by Dutch paper model designer 'kblaauw' and came out 2002.

BR

Looking good, Tappi.

Glad you are getting back to the hobby ... with a vengeance. You are really productive of late and I hope it is bringing you as much pleasure as it gives us to see your work

Hi Vermin, good to see you too after all my absent years. Just trying to make up some lost modelling opportunities, browsing through old collections and saved downloads - bumping into fond memories. Every cut and fold bears a touch of grief too.

This 'speed building season' is happening for a reason - to learn the skills again. This won't last forever. Besides the winter is coming and there's absolutely no reason to go out so... :D

Take care,
Tappi

Thanks PK, I have fond memories of your Tucker diorama. That's basicly the reason I built mine.
