50's square number plates would fit well i think, considering that it's supposed to be 88' series I.

Meanwhile, i started putting chassis parts together. Honestly it could look less messy, so i guess it will require some more tinkering. When all parts will be on their places, it must hold shape well enough. A bit annoying that i'm noticing some minor mistakes only on photos and can't spot them while i'm working.

Looks ok to me. I use Lego bricks to help form right angles.

Minor update. I'm overloaded with work and have too little time before sleep, so i managed to do only some little progress - bulkhead and bottom part of body. I came to conclusion that would be better to glue bottom part before installing frame crossbars, it would be easier to control the shape of the whole structure.
I'm still annoyed by the fact that this build is getting messier than it should be, but i guess it's kind of inevitable thing at least until i'll find all bugs and flaws in design. On the other hand, it gives me less headache than i expected.
