Wheel Faces
I've just uploaded a file to the downloads section. It's a sheet of wheel faces for use on vehicle models from 1-100th to about 1-24th scales. -
Some of these are generic alloys and trims, and others are marque-specific, and are labelled accordingly. If you use Photoshop or something similar, you can select the wheel you want, copy and paste it onto your model file, select and delete the surrounding white background and re-size the layer to 'cover' each of the original wheels. Resizing with PS is easy, just go to 'edit', 'transform', 'scale', and then pick up a corner tab and press 'shift' while dragging diagonally. This maintains the aspect ratio and therefore keeps the wheel circular. For those who want to make wheels like this themselves, I can recommend looking at the websites Wheeltrims.eu - The wheel trims for your car and Wheels and Caps - Chrome/Alloy/Steel OEM Wheels, OEM/Replacement Hubcaps & more! for suitable pictures to start from. sorry about that!
a nice set of wheels! I like it when someone else does all the work! although the images are a bit small, resolution is low. not sure I would use them for anything larger than about 1/48 scale (maybe 1/33) but still a great a great share! kudos

Well, Dave, I could make larger ones but I normally don't go much above 1-43rd for cars, so I didn't. Anyway, when you model in 1-33rd and above, the wheels that come with the kit usually are more complex than these, so need more detail. These are just flat wheel faces so are only really good for smaller scales. They're good alternatives for such as ABC and Streetpaper cars.

Thanks, I usually work in larger scales but they can give me a starting point.
