YMjr Lancia Stratos HF (1:24)
Hello everybody,
I present recently completed Lancia Stratos HF model. It can be downloaded for free here. The model itself is simple - no engine or chassis detail, no small parts to tackle. However building it is something like jigsaw puzzle. Instructions (only few schemes) are vague, sometimes you are left guessing how parts come together. Also, you have to build body completely before trying to attach it to simple framework. And building order is up to you to figure. But should you fail to guess it correctly, whole build goes to bin (as happened to me). The shape looks like Stratos alright, although i'm suspicious about overall proportions. I built is traight "out of the sheet", except adding some dimension to wheel rims. Despite unfriendly engineering and quite a few errors of my own, the model looks ok... From a distance After taking these pictures i realized, that i forgot to add a wiper. So here is the final view, whit wiper and improvised base P.S. i didn't measure the damn thing, but if it says 1:24, that's what it is :D

Very well done, I still have a couple of these printed out, but not made, iconic cars from the 1970's
