When you choose carryout - based on the packaging you get to keep - instead of the kind or quality of the food!

There is this Chinese place near me that not only has great cardboard, some of their dishes come in sealed plastic containers that are perfect to hold partly finished models - and you get an extra with every order >$40.

... where others see empty toilet paper rolls, you see fuselages and fuel tanks.

...you pay for extra fire insurance for your "investments".

...your golfing budies talk about the "fiddlers green", and you think of the papermodel company.

...the term "paperwork" is an oxymoron to you.

...you have you own unique way of disposing all those holiday greeting cards.

You must be a paper modeller if... your copy of Adobe Acrobat actually wears out.

You must be a paper modeller if... when you eat a sweet (sorry - candy) you don't throw the shiny/transparent coloured paper away, but smooth it out wondering if it'll be any good for navigation lights or something....

You must be a paper modeller if... you've had to buy your wife her own computer.

Just had my "must be...." moment today. Opening a new jar of Miracle Whip when I noticed that the paper used to seal the jar has an aluminized finish on one side. Immediately though of Gil's experiments with natural aluminum finish and wonder if there is an available soure for this stuff. If Kraft can buy it somewhere, why can't we?

...when you find a tiny scrap of paper somewhere in your home (the farthest possible from your workbench) and you immediately recognize what model it came from.
