For me it's reality show season - particularly American Idol. I know that I will have several hours each week of peace without interruption<G>

Talking

When you archive your papermodels on CD's and store them in your safe deposit box at the bank.

[fortunately I did. My hard drive crashed and that was my only back-up of my paper models. Lost all my other data, but not the paper models.]

When your significant other says "Were going to the big city on Saturday" to get stuff to work on the house and all you can think of is going to that cool office supply store you have been wanting to go to for a long time, but haven't had the money for gas because you have been buying ink cartridges and kits....glad she taking her car...woo hoo

... if you start counting how many of these posts apply to you, and get more than you never imagine (I just did it).

Another...
... if you examine very closely a business card when they hand it over to you, to check out what kind of cardstock is made of.

Airport authorities almost send me to detention when they saw my nice X-Acto collection on my back pack... and I couldn't bring it with me

if in the morning, your co-worker say :
We see you aren't sleep out ,you where in cindrella dance maybe!
Your answer: no, I just finished my last projekt.
They mean - how hard-workink man.
You mean - how delightful my airplane, and where I found corresponding place for it.

You might be a paper modeler if...people in your family live to be 237 years old, since that's the only way you're ever going to build that stack of kits stashed in your model drawer.

You might be a paper modeler if...you own a big empty building to house all those finished models you worked on for 237 years.

You might be a paper modeler if...you have a recurring nightmare that your roof leaks.

.....If your wife's "honey-do" list is longer then your list of future builds.

I totally agree that of Phil's post, "...you have a stack of models you can never possibly have time to build, yet you are constantly looking for more.

=> I would like being a collector than being a modeler when I see my pile of models...
