When u start looking on other PM'ers as close family...same mindset...genetic heredity

When all of above is normal to you...

When you start spending more on PM than u ever thought possible...

Showing off your building process like its your firstborn...

Your eyes wander instinctively towards paper anywhere in office or pharmacy, guessing the different sizes (puberty all over again)

Wishing Microsoft made a polish voice translator...that read PDF files...

Wondering where to get an adjustable-automatic-all-in-one circle cutter...

Daydreaming about PM during work hours...

Bringing your model to work for show and tell...

Logging on to PM like a crack addict....(Guilty-see me typing on my blackberry now)..

Knowing you will NOT complete all the models you bought...but you get them anyway...

Waking up at an ungodly hour..because you figured out in your sleep how to complete that tricky part...

When TGIF to you means..."Today-glue-in-formers.."

...Salivating when passing the stationery centre...

when you buy legal pads for the *sole* purpose of ripping the cardboard backs off them

you explain your hobby to everyone and anyone who will or won't listen

Looking at plastic models with indifference...

Researching glue types like its your final college paper..

Dreaming and scheming how to make compound curves in paper....(Heat a spoon, damp one side of paper..press other spoon...damn it!..not working)
Your idea of fun is to print, cut and glue....background music optional.

You daydream making that perfect cowling or wheel...

When you plan your music/TV listening to suit the type of model you're building...

When the biggest decision on starting a new build is tab or edge join!!

When you only go to tool supply houses to see if anything is adaptable to paper modeling...

When you go to your local IPMS chapter meeting and as you're working on a model, one of your fellow members asks," Don't you ever build anything that's PLASTIC?!"

... when you don't throw away odd scraps of paper; you save them "for later".

If you have more bookmarks for paper companies and scrapbooking sites than you do for any other kind of web site, you just might be a paper modeler.

if the words "put it on my tab" and the words flap and wing in the same scentence means something else to you than it means to the rest of the english speaking community
