You must be a papermodeler if someone says "super-model" and you think "Mmmm... 1:25, 108cm X 94 cm X 30 cm."

You wrote a breakfast cereal company and asked them to return to using thicker cardboard for their boxes.

You must be a paper modeler if at times your skin resembles a cutting mat.

Ouch, I hate those.
Don't forget the little specks of CA that wind up on the fingertips after you've used it to stiffen a detail part. At least I don't have to worry about leaving identifiable fingerprints anymore.

My exacto knife rolled off the table last week. I caught it between my legs before it hit the ground. Unfortunately I caught it point first, it went into my thigh muscle about a half an inch. With no first aid kit around, I had to stop the bleeding with some super glue and toilet paper.

Only a paper modeler would think of that first-aid approach!

Knife, smart move.

Had a similar thing with slicing a finger a couple of years ago. Was on a Sunday night and it wouldn't stop bleeding. Thought about using CA, but having pretty good insurance decided to be a good boy and go to the emergency room. 7 months later after I'd paid around $500 out of pocket and the insurance was billed for close to 3K for a PA coming in with a small tube of CA and gluing the cut plus wasting about 4 hours in the middle of the night decided next time just grab the bottle of CA.

Been fixing cuts with CA for years! Stings a little, but works like nothing else.
CA was actually designed to try and make clear gun sights, but many years later,
was developed and tried in medicinal uses. The CA we use for everyday use is a
little different on the molecular level than the medicinal CA.

Still doesn't stop me from table top medical care!

In fear of a burglary you bought a steel gun safe to store your unbuilt card model kits.

You must be a paper modeler if...
...your Halloween costume always has an accessory made of paper!
