"You must be a paper modeler if...."

This thread is a take off of the old Jeff Foxworthy "You must be a Redneck if..." routine only directed toward Paper Modelers. I guess you could be both, a redneck and a paper modeler in which case you would probably use a hatchet to cut out parts.

Example:
You must be a paper modeler if you... dig through you neighbors garbage in the middle of the night looking for empty cereal boxes.

-OR-

You must be a paper modeler if you... are on a first name basis with the guy at office max who refills your ink cartridges.

Let's keep this list going...It will be funny to see what else defines a "real" paper modeler.

You must be a real paper modeler if you have 9 pairs of scissors and the complete catalog of Xacto and Olfa in your tool kit........

...you cut your finger, and are more concerned with staining your model than the dripping blood.

...you keep sniffing that bottle of elmers hoping for a buzz.

You pick up a plastic model price list and laugh.

Your mailman learns what "Do not bend" is in Polish and Russian

You recognise and understand words and phrases in Polish but have no idea how to pronounce them.

Regards,

Charlie

you must be a paper modeler if you put your ship in a plastic container to keep it from getting wet when travelling.

One more then I will stop...(yeah right!)

...you have a stack of models you can never possibly have time to build, yet you are constantly looking for more.

You examine every piece of cardboard you find, imagining what good formers it will make.

You size up cars and buildings and imagine them as card models.
