My biggest thrill is to combine hobbies, so I am trying to make a micro rc version of Gary's Super 60 kit, and now I am determined to make a playable card guitar (actually, I've just realised, playable card ? playing card? I must follow this road to the bitter end !)
And of course ! The card MUST be the Joker !
Sorry Michael, I'm running away with myself here,
Anyway, all the best

Oh my goodness Liz once again my poor comm skills have got me. I think that creativity in ANY form is wonderful. It is what separates us from the other species. It is why we have all the amazing things we have that make living now so perfect. I only dream of doing all the things I see peeps all around me doing.

As they say on the sitcoms - You Go Gurl!

Also Happy Mom's day if you are in that club...

Dear Michael
Please don't think that my post was in any way a put - down or that I was in any way upset.
It's just that in all my 65 years making things, especially for kids, has been my deepest joy and I just sort of got carried away !
One day, I hope to make something straight enough and recognisable enough to post a picture on the forum, one of the nicest things I have ever heard was "It's lovely, thank you !"
Since I last posted I've been absorbed by the idea of a card guitar or Lute that is playable. Apparently, papier-mache ones have been made and sound quite good so I must be in with a chance.
'Tell you what, Michael, you choose, Lute or Guitar ?
All the best
Liz
P.S. Sadly, that is one club I have been denied access to.
