My experience at a Walmart Neighborhood market

I think this really happened.

About a month ago I was in my Local market waiting to get thru the self service check out lane when all of a sudden a bolt of some crazy laser beam light came out of the product scanner. It shot straight up and thru the ceiling, I know because it was raining and there was rain coming thru the 3' diameter hole that was just made by this beat of a laser beam. I just stood there wondering "What kind of mess have I gotten myself into now" when the said laser from the product scanner came out again and came towards me, I was frozen in time, I couldn't move. The product scanner laser beam grabbed me and shot me up thru the hole in the roof where the rain was coming. and blasted me up in the sky so fast I passed out. When I came to I was in this grassy field where there 1000's of other people and I could hear and see Jimi Hendrix playing the National Anthem.

Ok, so you landed in Woodstock, 1969. This is the Comedy Stand- what’s the punch line?

Sorry for wasting your time, It was a failed attempt at trying to write something funny, if I could delete it I would.

I'd be happy if that laser would strike me. Where did you say it was located?

Hi DesertNomad
I find your story fascinating. The laser bounced you back in time to before Jimmi Hendrix death in 1970. Obviously you made it back to the present; how else could you have posted your experience here?
So now I am curious. How did you manage to get back? Did you just do the normal aging over the course of 50-plus years or is there an instant way to jump forward. I don't think Walmart had self-checkout with laser scanners way back then.
Please elaborate. I would like to try some time traveling myself if I'd knew a safe way to do it.
Best,
Hornswoggler

I'm a huge fan of the 60's. I love what came from that time period...The music, the Life styles, the jesus movement and much more, some I wouldn't bring up here because of the young eyes that may be watching. Maybe that's why I got sent back. I have always been just a little disappointed that I was 10 years to young to have really soaked in the 60's...That is until I went to Walmart that day. My dream was answered and YES, I stayed! I stayed right there in the 1969. Ya know what everybody was talking about ? How we put a man on the moon and brought him back to earth. People really were into the space program and how it all works. I remember all those years ago after the concert was over and we are all just drifting around (Yes, I became a drifter, working for a few bucks here and there and just living off the kindness of others) I was just walking down the road when a car pulled up and this real cool looking dude stuck his head out the window and said "Hey man, wanna come over try out this new fondue pot with us" I got this real peaceful, easy feeling over me and gladly accepted.
