Lord Nelson

Lord Nelson was a great naval commander for the British fleet.
His reputation was so large many people don't realize he only stood 5 feet tall.
After his death they erected a huge column in his honor with a 15 foot statue of him on top.

That's Horatio of 3:1

Wasn't he 5'-4" tall? In any case the small guy could fit between decks better when he conducted an admiral's inspection of the ship.
"But Admiral, Sir, there is no "f" in glasses."
"Well, lad, you better find some effin glasses!"
