It's a beautiful model of a classy airplane -- definitely more stylish than the multi-engined version.

The single-engined Jabiru would look good in one of Rosie's neo-deco byairclassique postcards.

Thanks Don. Our output is greatly affected by economics unfortunately. Which means we can not devote the time that we would like to the construction and design of small aircraft. Rosie is looking to paint this up over the next month, but the instructions always take longer than we would like...

Are you going to do it with the interior detail? That looks wonderful, really reminds me of the mid-30's Voisin, Hispano-Suiza and Delahaye sedan and limo interiors.

I guess that would have to be upscaled to take advantage of the detail so probably an upscale to..say... 1/24 as a cutaway would be ideal..unfortunately we still have a large backlog of material to issue..

I, for one, am very grateful for the models that you have made available. Someday I hope to begin working my way through my backlog of Contour Creative models, but for now, I am glad to have these wonderful Golden Age civil aircraft models and look forward to your future products when and as you are able to complete them.

It also about time for me to restock on Rosie's beautiful postcards that evoke the airplanes, the automobiles, the people, and the scenes of the past.

Best wishes,

Don

Hello Terry and Rosie. I notice that the Contour Creative website is down for several days. Have you migrated to a new URL, or perhaps are revising the layout? All the best,

I just looked at the Contour Creative Studio website <http://byairclassique.com/Front%20Page%20Models.htm#>. The good news is that it is still alive, and accepting orders. However, no new updates to the work in progress list for about a decade. Also, eCardmodels has a large number of their Moths and other models, including the Farman 190, but not the F170. I have enjoyed building these beautifully designed models, and remain hopeful that Rosie and Terry will be able to issue more.
