I've seen some blue ones. They were cool. But yeah, Orange Flame with white rally stripes would rock. Ours is Orange flame with a white vinyl hardtop.

This is great CT!!
good luck with this...nice to see some more Car models.

Can I make a couple of suggestions regarding the layout shown?...
keep the car body colour as a solid colour, not a textured pattern
and add stripes or line details to break it up.
Windows would look better as black or a gradient dark gray.
For chrome effect, gray works the best if you aren't very good at a chrome simulation.
(in the 60s and 70s, chrome was often repaired with aluminum paint, so the gray effect is acceptable)

How is this for orange? Too dark?

I also have a shot of the bumper shape, not quite perfect but close enough. The front bumper and grill assembly will be a bit of a pain too.

"Hugger" Orange (as all Chevy fans will correct you) is the Chevelle colour
and the white stripes are almost mandatory!

Hmnnn..... You may be talking about my "formative" years. So considering that I was born at the end of 1945, does that make me a classic or an antique?

Thanks AirDave. Hows this. I am also redoing the front bumper as well to better reflect the real car.
