Did John Wallis publish a book on Confederate ironclads? If so, can you post the name and where it could be found?

I wish! He has a well researched manuscript on nearly every Confederate ironclad, built, attempted, and concept! The only proble with it is everytime he gets ready to call it done he discoveres new info or another possibility and then rewrites part of it. The list he sent me of contributes he has worked with is impresive. The book, should it ever get in print, will be great for historians and modelers.

I actually have suggested that he publish it in an e-format. Maybe even through e-cardmodels?

Maybe soon! John?

CT.

Corey,
we are in the middle of moving house, I'm living out of boxes at the moment, so everything has just about stopped. I move into my new home on June 27th.

Awesome days ahead no doubt! Until then, I feel for you. Living from boxes suck, mainly because you never seem to be able to find that one thing you need at the moment! Been there, done that!

Still, when you get a chance, the world is calling out for your book!

I'll second that. Eformat is great, I have a couple of books on my phone using a kindle ap. Great for those moments sat around in a car waiting for someone etc. I guess it's easier to get published like this as no print costs etc!

Hate to jump in here on this, but then, I feel I must. Take a look at:

Slides n' Moore Publishing

We have a publishing company registered with the Library of Congress. All of the Models n' Moore stuff is published through it. Maybe John and I can work something out.

Fishbait,

I may well be interested in publishing as an Ebook when we get ourselves settled in and sorted.

Wait, so "Rebelatsea" is THE John Wallis??

Awesome!! I am slow on the uptake sometimes, but I eventually get there....

I am so glad he, as well as the others who have commented on the ironclad projects, are part of this forum!

Cheers!
Jim

John,

We should probably discuss this off the forum. I will send you a PM later. No hurry.
