This vessel was not armoured at all.

I will definitely be adding this one to my pile of ships to make when it comes out. My first timberclad!

I have gotten back to this one and I am thinking of a slight redesign for easier building. I hate going back and redoing things but I think it will improve the model as a buildible thing rather then as a pile of paper! I am sorry for the many long delays!

OK, after much debate with myself, I have decided on the colors. By a couple of photos and a few good drawings it looks like the hull was charcoal/black. Not uncommon. The wood armor I am going with wood texture painted a light gray. And the upper works look like typical bright white. The decks are wood as usual. Almost done!

Working on directions now. Sorting out some good diagrams for the standing and running rigging. Not too much of either because she is not a sailing ship, but still quit a bit of rope! The details will make this model pop I think!
