How many projects?

I was just looking through the posts here and was amazed at how many designs you seem to have on the go at the same time! There are loads of great ship designs you seem to have started.

I was just wondering how many ships you have in the pipeline? Do you have a plan for releasing them or do you just go where your creative juices flow?

Hummmm...good question. I guess it depends on what you mean by going on. I have some that I have modeled in 3-d. I have some I have gotten info on and have started. And I have a very few that I have done to the point of unfolding and laying out parts. Then I have a few that i started and then trashed because I was too far off the mark. I do plan on getting as many done as I can for release, some in ecardmodels and some here for free.

Fizzled...I like that! I think it's always good to take stock of what projects you have on the go everynow and then. Helps you focus and prioritise. Well sometimes it does!!
Well I for one have a better appreciation of how much time goes into designing the 3d model in the first place, so I'm very impressed by your workload!!

Would you happen to have 1/72 Palmetto State in your fizzled file that you will be returning to in the future. I would still like to see a waterline 1/72 scale ironclad of one of your vessels.

I have all kinds of pages for the 1/72 scale Palmetto State. It was a project that I started before I had skill enough to carry it through. I have no clue what to do with it now. Not sure what need reworked and what works as is. Been tempted more then once to hit the delete button on this one...

Noooooo!!!!....don't ever delete anything you have been working on, Corey...they are all salvable and most certainly lead to a great model kit in the end!

No Manassas kit on your list?

Cheers!
Jim

I like to keep 2 or 3 projects on the burner at the same time. That way if I get frustrated with one, I just switch to another one until my boiler cools off.

I generally design what interests me, and I've probably got 10 or 20 models in various stages of design, from starting the 3Dmodel, to waiting for unrolling. Sometimes I browse through their folder to see if any want to go back on the burner.

I've only had to kill one model. No matter what I tried, I couldn't make the Supermarine Walrus buildable.
