Thank you all for your help and input. Here is a somewhat simplified engine for this little rascal. I think it looks right even if it may be way off the mark, so I am going with it!

Looking good, Corey. It is great to have you back in the saddle again. Better living through chemistry...even if it half kills you in the process.

Thanks Darwin.
I think I have it about ready. I have included anchors and other deck clutter as well two launches. I know there is no evedence in the drawings but you can leave them off if toy do not want them.

Getting it broke down. I think the square head engine is buildable at least in this simplified version. I like that the top part of the cylinder stick out above the deck.

Hello all. I hope that some one would like to do a test build soon, maybe this weekend. I think if things go well in chemo today (my last in session 7) I may be able to get it ready to build by tonight! It is a great little ship do in part to that odd engine! Any takers let me know!

This is one I will have to build eventually, but not having done any serious ship models, I'm afraid I would be a little lost ...

Damn, I wish I had the time to commit to doing a test build for you on this, Corey, but I just don't...I am swamped with work and home chores this weekend, and next week, and next weekend, and...well, you get the idea...

Another gem, my friend! Love the way it looks!

Cheers!
Jim

Corey, if no one else steps to the plate, I'll give it a go.
