1901 Fiat

I like this thread, it's nice and quiet! Warm too! I think I might just move in...
Just in case I need to get away, now I got some wheels.

I could have put more work into hiding the white...

I wanted to comment on your snake in the box model while I was at work, but I didn't have a picture to attach. Here are some propellors.

A paper model of a paper box!!!! I love it! Reminded me immediately of when Beavis and Butthead went on a school field trip to the prison. Butthead ended by up tattooing pictures of butts on the inmates' butts. huh huh huh

Thanks Texman for putting those two back in my thoughts :D

Hubble

In keeping with the spirit of this thread, I offer today's build of Ton Noteboom's intermediate Hubble downloaded from Hubblesite.

I noticed Jim Nunn did not post a photo which begs the question, what's the idea behind this thread?

I am thinking there is too much "communication" and not enough showing of one's recent work. If that's the case, we need to be more petulant in all of our threads by insisting folks show what they have been building!

I also violated the "rules" by posting this same pic in the Space thread, but that was to highlight a new technique for making bulkhead formers. Check it out.

Cornholio- "the streets will flow with the blood of the non believers"...heh heh heh.

Charles,
I think Jim was just being ornery.
The main idea is to have a picture with every post...that's all.
Can you imagine how awesome it will be to have this thread filled with pictures from every member???

Enjoy,

It would certainly force folks to build more and type less. Ooops! I'm a big offender in that area.

Attached is a Kronosaurus for my in-progress build of the Remora submersible from Dinotopia. I sculpted the Krono from epoxy putty because paper just would not hack it. But, the sub will be made from paper.

Charles, Please don't quote me or the Great Cornholio out of context. (if you don't know who that is, you are either too old, or too young!).
I don't think you get the idea here...paper models!!!...Pictures of papermodels!!! I bought the Hubble idea, but not epoxy putty!

To challenge Phil is not the point!

Lep, considering your injury, and the fact that you built that beautiful model anyway, you are SO my friend!

Thought this thread could use a laptop to entertain you all between posts!:p...

No problem Lep.
Here's the first model I built after a 10+ year hiatus. Wilhelmshaven 1/50th ME262 'Schwalbe'. No edge coloring, but I'm mostly happy with it
Edit - unfortunately this will also be my only post in this thread, as I have no more existing paper models to submit pictures of :(
