Competition ideas...

Looking for ideas for a designer competition - probably for a model aircraft.

What kind of prize would make you want to participate?

What kind of guidelines would make it fair?

competition

Sounds interesting. My choice for 1st prize would be everyone's undying praise! Ego is everything!

Ok, aircraft...maybe include aircraft related. I'm reminded of Bomarc's aircraft tug a couple of years ago.

I would suggest that the design be original, not kitbashed or recolor...but drawings, etc. of the prototype ok of course, from whatever source available. Otherwise, not a lot of complication.

Now where did I put that drawing I started a few years ago......

I agree. There's no one-size-fits-all for designing, so setting a standard software or number of parts may benefit some deigners more than others. Also there's only so many ways to design a particular subject...

I'd say the more general the better, and if it's going to be on the forum, I may start a new design for it. I havent finished a design in forever and have been itching to try out some new techniques
