Not being able to resist the next shiny object that provides an excuse not to finish the dozens of incomplete former shiny objects, I will participate.

I'll help Kevin out here and offer an explanation.
(although is original post spells it out quite clearly) The point to this, is: 1. a tutorial on how to build a specific Koolwheelz. (we can definitely do more if there's interest) 2. a step by step build. (I build a step and post an explanation and a photo or two. Then you copy the step and post your own photo. We go at this pace until we all finish the model together.) 3. learn some basic techniques and skills of building a paper model. (we can all have input on this. Newbies will learn from us "experts") 4. Just a fun group build of the same model with no judgement of anyone's build. As far as I understand this, its not a competition or build challenge. If you want to have another KoolWheelz Challenge (like I had on my own forum) we can do that. Then you can build at any scale, kit bash, make dioramas, etc. But thats not what this is. I hope I have explained all this properly. Kevin can correct me if not. ...... The first step is to decide on the specific model we are going to try as a group. So vote for your choice.

I'll happily join in on any model selected. I think "Sprogs" Liz should choose one, since she asked for help. I'd recommend an "easy" since this is for beginners. I like Fillmore the VW Bus or the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine among the "easies." But I like everyone else's ideas too. I'm not picky.

Dave - I am 100% with your suggestions.
Hopefully we will get more takers and suggestions - early days yet. As they come, I will list the suggestions - it may well be we will not have not have bother with a poll! JohnM are you on board here? If you can scale up a bit?

I agree, a Poll might not even be necessary.
It'll probably be easy to count through the suggestions and find the most requested model. Many of my models don't fill the sheet, and you could easily print at larger scale. That doesn't really change the basic model assembly. So, if the choice allows, I don't see why upscaling should be a problem. Only drawback is you miss out on the experience of dealing with small parts and the learning challenge. But some of us have physical challenges to deal with and very small scale is just out of the question. If upscaling the model is the requirement, then why not.
