Join a Mass Model Build!
Dave suggested (in this thread Incompetance) a mass step-by-step build-off of a Koolwheelz model – to both help people starting out, and also just for fun.
The idea of this is as follows................
To start off suggestions are needed as to which model to build. All the Koolwheelz models are here (and they are free)!. Dave's Koolwheelz Paper Models Lots of different types of cars, but also some Sci-Fi stuff as well, and a Munster House. So go and have a look, and choose any one model you fancy, or need help with, or would just like to see a tutorial about. Then post your suggestion for the model in this thread. Once we have have enough suggestions, we will then run a vote or poll to get THE model that will be built. This may take a bit of time before we arrive at the final model, so be patient, but hopefully there will be enough interest! Lastly thanks to Dave for the initial suggestion, and for his wonderful free models. And Dave – this is really your thread, so feel free to pitch in etc. as you wish!

Great idea Kevin!
Yup, I'm in! A lot of my earlier, and simpler models, don't have any sort of instructions. Just a pic of the finished model and maybe some text on assembly. So, it will be fun to create a tutorial for one of the models. Who knows...if this is a hit, we could do more. I'll gladly offer a step by step, with photos, of the build (as I do it). I'm sure many of you will want to jump ahead at certain times, but I am going to try to detail a build as slowly as possible detailing every step (depending on the model of course, since some have more parts and might call for repetitive building). Can I vote for a model choice? No...maybe I shouldn't.

I'll take part (unless it is a model I've already done and haven't given away), but I'll leave the choice of model up to others

And why can't you vote?
Of course you can, especially since you will be building it as well....... So what's your choice? I need to study the models a bit more first before I decide - spoilt for choice!

Well, that actually helped me to avoid making a choice of only one.
I've botched up Deckard's car before, so it would be on my list. I haven't done the Daisy Duke Jeep, which would give me an excuse to do it. And the new Batmobile would probably be a good model to go through with folks who otherwise may be intimidated

I've already built them all, so I don't really mind!
I like the idea of voting for a model that you haven't built or you need help with. So, I'd rather wait until I see what people want and then vote accordingly. I was going to suggest the Hippo Bus but that would have immediately thrown two thumbs to the Bus and I didn't think that was fair.
