Howdy Michaels,

I Just have to add this, a few years ago I witnessed rivet counters in a major IPMS competition figuring how a tank was scratch built from various plastic kits. All the time they
were looking at an extremely detailed PAPER model by master modeler
Jim Nunn. I believe that work won a trophy.

Good for Jim. He is one person who can make paper look as good or better than plastic.

The IPMS plastic guys up here in Central Pennsylvania are very kind and welcoming, and appreciate paper models. Nonetheless, I was amused I once eavesdropped on a couple of folks arguing about whether Greg Perry's Modelik Ford GPA amphibious truck was based on a Tamiya or a Fujimi kit.

And congratulations to you for building such a fine Roman Vasyliev/Ryan Short L-5. I have been trying to produce an acceptable model for years and have a box of failed Stinsons. Your model makes me want to try again.
