how about emailing me some pics?

not every build is perfect.
I know that.
when I use a picture in the store I can reduce it down so you can't see the mistakes.
and I always do a little photoshop cleanup.

Its not about perfect builds...its about showing something other than a cover painting.
thats fine will do that for you

Herky, did you email pics yet?
Did I miss them?
I don't think so.

I would very much appreciate a couple more pics of the RNZAF and the IAF hercs.

Just added to the EXTRAS-FREE STUFF area (at www.papermodelshop.com)
a Sheet detailing the assembly of the Main Landing Gear for all Hercs and Gunships.

Paper Model Shop Paper Model Extras

A question was just raised about parts used in the Landing Gear assembly and how it all goes together.

In my last C-130 model update, I added some much needed Instruction pages to the kit.
These Instructions include diagrams for the Nose Gear assembly.
The kit already had some small diagrams on the Parts pages detailing the Main Landing Gear assembly,
so I didn't add anything further in that regard.

I have now expanded on those Main Gear diagrams with a little more information about the part assemblies.
Rather than modify and update a lot of kits already in the store, I have created a single sheet you can download easily.

And don't forget to look for my Build Threads on the original herc designs.
You will find valuable photographs of all areas of assembly.

okay, lets talk about an RAF Herc again...

I'm not saying I will get to it right away,
but its about time I considered a paint scheme.

I see a lot of camo schemes when I do a search for RAF C-130.
But camo does take a lot more time and trouble to create
and it can sometimes be a pain getting everything to line up.

I'd like to consider a camo paint scheme as a second option
if there is something else (solid colour base) as a primary choice.

Let the suggestions fly!

How about this one Dave? Looks like a plain OD base color, but with fun Special Markings!!

That would be a nice choice,
except its the extended Herc (C-130J?)
and its not really an RAF paint scheme is it.

Lockheed Martin And Marshall Aerospace Sign Agreement To Increase C-130 Hercules Refurbishment Capability · Lockheed Martin

...
Its been so long, I can't remember anything about the Hercs! lol
The J and K are the extended, long body Hercs I think.

But I can model the shorter J with the new 6 bladed engines.
That was the last one I did...the WC130J

XV190 might be a option:
