The pair of Herkybirds that regularly fly low up and down my valley, two or three times a week, are plain grey all over, like in your #319 post Dave. Difficult to judge their length when they're comin' straight at yer though. I'll try and get some photos next time I hear them comin', but I'm out and about a bit lately.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Good thing nobody was hurt...and the crew is safe.

AC130 pushed beyond its limits

I wonder if there are any photos or video?

I'm with you Dave. One moment laugh, next moment.... Fortunate crew, I'll say that.

As a new member I was forced to go through the entire thread, not quite word for word, but I have reviewed it.

Now it seems every "Special Person" has managed to "somehow" inject their own special desires for a build. So with this in mind, I see no practical reason I shouldn't make another special request for the little known, ubber secret, officially denied versions.

Yes, I'm talking about the Float Plane Version, and the Seaplane versions.

You never know unless you ask...

a Float plane might be possible, but you won't see the seaplane from me.
Too much redesigning.
Didn't Murphy say he was going to do this?

I'll be honest, I don't know when I'll ever get back to doing some more Hercs.
I already have so many projects I want to complete
and new ones I want to start.

And I already have standing requests for an RAF Herc, an HC130 Refueler and a couple more.

All I can do is add it to the request list at this point.

I decided to offer up the "all-paper" wheels for the C130 as an add-on.
I'll put it up as a free download at papermodelshop.com.

I even added some tabbed joiner strips for assembly.

I really like using these joiner strips when I assemble wheels and ringed things,
but they are very fiddly and tedious to deal with.

Some people don't like them and prefer to find their own method of assembly...
but for those who do, they are available.

A set of wheels to fit any of the C130 kits:

Great! I prefer this to the stacked wheel, and since I have one of you C-130s I will be more inspired to do the build.
