bloomohio: You might get better answers if you asked you question in one of the threads about the Alan Rose DC-3, or one of the threads about rescaling in general. (I would still try one of the Alan Rose DC-3 threads first.)

This thread is about the C-130 Hercules models designed by Airdave.

Are there plans for the Refueler version or the Special forces versions?
I'd like to build the Hercs and Chinooks that fly over our place as they Refuel.

I really appreciate the input, and the inquiries.
..I want to do my best to keep a current and positive relationship with you guys.

Thing is, I have three Hercs on the to-do list.
I could probably come up with two or three more.

But, the honest truth is, they have been there for 2....3 years? or more?
and i can't be bothered to look at them.

Why? because:
-the Hercs don't sell that well. [This is real important!]
-its a a lot of work to do a Herc repaint. [a lot more than something like Mustang or a Thunderbolt]
-I have many other projects I should be doing. [Things that interest me, and have more selling potential.]

And, unfortunately some of my Herc files are corrupted, or just won't open in my current version of Corel.
I have plenty of backups, and redundant copies, but there have been many updates over the years.
And its been so long since I worked on one, that I am unsure of which files are good to work with.
I have to look through files and try to figure out what templates I can properly reuse.
When I look at the number of files and folders involved, I get frustrated and lose interest again.

I don't want to say I will never do another Herc,
but as each month and year passes, its gets less and less likely.
Just being honest.

...
yes...an HC-130H Refueler is on the list!
As is an Iranian AF Herc and a DC-130 Drone Carrier.

You can't convert a model that way.
It has to be designed right from the start to have an interior or opening hatches.
A different internal structure is required than what is in my and Nobi's C130 kit.

But once again, it comes down to how much time I have to design kits
and which ones go to the top of the list.
My personal interest and retail potential don't always work together,
but these are usually my priorities.

You would need to clarify for us, which image you are referring to.
A lot of images in this thread!
