My original intention was to produce the Carrier Tractor "Tug" with two add-on units:
The Jet Start Unit and a Fire Response Attachment.

As I already posted the Tug came out very well, and the JetStart Unit worked great too!

But I noticed that some of the Fire Tractors were white instead of yellow.
(Actually I found white and yellow Tractors and other equipment of all types)
And I thought it might be cool to have both colours in the kit...

So, I decided to produce a second Tug...
using the same Carrier Tractor, only this time in white,
with markings as a Fire Tractor
and with the Fire Equipment attachment already equipped.

This tug builds exactly the same as the Flight Tug, only the Fire add-on is required because the back of the Tug is unfinished.

Theres room in the back to add some hose and a fire extinguisher, etc.
Because of the small size, I didn't try to design any very small accessories.
I'll leave those up to the builder!

Moving on now, to some Ground Equipment.
And testing out a simple Hydraulic Aircraft Jack Stand.

so, no thoughts on the Fire Tug?

I don't care if its positive or negative comments,
as long as I hear from those who may or may not be interested
in what I am putting in this kit!

During the last diorama kit production, some sort of Aircraft Jack Stands were suggested as kit additions.

At 1/50 scale (the design scale for these kits) some equipment can be very small.
And parts like small tubing and rods are just too difficult for me to design.

Anyway, I have come up with two types of Aircraft Jack Stand (Hydraulic)
and made simple model versions of them both.
I've created one page with both of the Jack designs on it,
and it includes parts to build two of each design.

Anyone want to throw a pair together for me?
Someone used to dealing with very small parts, very small models?
let me know...I need to make sure they go together okay
and I would like to see a photo or two of the finished models.

I like the looks of the fire tug, it appears to have the right amount of detail for the scale range it's intended for. It will look great in a diorama.

The jack stand looks like it will do the trick. I'm on the road for the next 10 days and don't have any tools with me, otherwise I'd do a test build.

If no one offers by the 30th of the month, I'll do a build for you. Unfortunatly I'm out of the office until then.

Very good looking fire rig and jacks Dave. They will certainly go great with a lot of jets:D:D the whole next set of those is going to be another "must have" The yellow jack look almost exactly like the ones I used in the Guard, we had them range in height from 2-4 feet tall, unextended. I also spent a lot of time maintaining them.

well no more offers to do any test builds...
I hope this isn't a sign of no interest in this kit?

I am progressing slowly, got a couple more models done.

...and yes, I still need some test builds.

This is a list of what is actually completed and in the kit right now.
Do not assume I am anywhere near finished adding stuff!
I would guess I am at least halfway.

INCLUDES:
Airfield Accessories:
Industrial Fire Extinguisher*
Hydraulic HiLift Jack Stands*
Hydraulic Tripod Jack Stands*
Jet Blast Deflector Panels - Modular Sections*
Moveable Boarding Ladder - Fixed Height*

“Huffer” Tow Jet Airstart Cart*

Aircraft Carrier Accessories:
Modern Carrier Tug Tractor
Jet Start Unit Add-on (for above)
Modern Carrier Fire Response Tractor
Fire Equipment Add-on Unit (for above)

“Huffer” Tow Jet Airstart Cart (Low Clearance)

as I said, got a few items I would like to see test built (anything with a star*)
and if everything goes okay, take a few photos.
Build threads are not asked for at this point, but we can post some photos later.

Most of the elements in this kit can be built in a few hours if not less.

I need fast builds, the point is to help me correct any issues asap.
And I need good quality photos, since they might be used in the store listing.
(Good skills with small scale models is also a good asset)
let me know if you are interested in tackling a model or two.

Still no offers?...to build some models from this kit?
(other than Curt, who is already busy building the Dazzle P51)

I just added a Tow Ground Power Unit.
(attached is my build diagram to give you an idea)
This will be another model available for test build.

I think thats it for larger wheeled vehicles, except for the Ford FarmTractor Tug.
I will most likely be giving that one a shot.

but first I want to come up with some smaller items.
I have a couple of Trailers in mind...mainly Missile/Weapons Dollies.

I've also got an Oxygen Cart/Trailer that I might try.

Any ideas for other smaller or different items I could include?
Like the Fire Extinguisher, Boarding Ladder, Hydraulic Jacks, etc

Dave, I really would like to do some test builds of your diorama kit. I however am doing a test build for someone else right now and will be busy with it for another week, probably 2 knowing the way these things go....

It sounds like you want these pieces built fairly quickly? I'm already up to my ears in test builds and my wife is beginning to wonder if we're ever going to do some of the things I said I'd do before winter arrives.

If your at all able to wait another 10 days or so, I'll check with you and see if you still need a builder. Right now, that's the best I can do.

Thanks Tappi for offering to try some test models.

And Swampfox, check with me when you are ready, I'm sure I will still have some stuff to build.

Just added two more accessories to the Kit:

A set of four Fuel Drums (45 gal Steel type)
and a Pallet and Drag Chute setup.
I came across this awesome photo inside a C-17 with rows of Pallets, all packaged up with straps and Drag Chutes, each Pallet carrying 4 Fuel drums, waiting to be air dropped at some far away location!

And I also added a Maverick Missile (actually two different Mavericks)
with its own Shipping Container Wheeled Dolly contraption!

I am planning on doing one or two more Trailers/Dollies for Bombs or other armament...so there should be a good assortment of weapons accessories.
