oh a "light" cart?!

lol
at first, I'm thinking, "what kind of cart?"
"...okay, so its light...but what kind of light cart?"

you must mean a cart with "lighting" on it...right?
lol

might be a scratch build kind of thing...because of the 1/50 scale
I tend to avoid some smaller detail things and difficult to build things.

[the GPU pictured above is only about 2-3" long, and 2" tall]

a lot of my stuff is designed with my own build skills in mind,
and I get very annoyed with things like small scale headlight pots on vehicles
and stuff like that.
So pole lighting might be one of those things! lol

I don't know, I would have to see photos first.

....but as usual, I want and appreciate these kinds of ideas.
If nothing else they usually spark other ideas in my head.
Please don't be discouraged by my occasional lack of interest! lol

Apparently the GBU-31 is the largest at 2000lbs.

Too many photos, and too many different captions on them all!
Too much information and you can't trust any of it!
Thats the problem with the Internet!!
Look at the picture for MH-110 I referenced in the previous thread, it shows 4*GBU31s (2000lb JDAMs)
The same trailer can take one GBU28 (5000lb bunker buster)
or about 6*GBU38 (500lb JDAMs)

yes, that is the same 10 wheeled trailer I have pics of.

I could definitely consider that, but I need to find some reference
for the Bomb supports and hold-downs.

I think I will use the JDAMs and not the Bunker Busters.

Should be interesting.

well, the dummy that I am, I didn't go looking

and I didn't find the fantastic looking JDAMs
already created by our member solo67!

Had I seen those, I would have contacted him and asked about
possibly using his basic design.

But left to my own devices,
I have already laid out a design for some GBU-31 JDAMS.

Not sure how well they will work yet...a test build will confirm.

And I have a full MHU-110 Munitions Trailer ready for test build too!

You know the drill...I don't want to have to test build these myself,
but I can't wait forever.
If someone wants to try this Trailer and Bombs...right away...
please let me know.

You need a little more than beginners experience,
especially experience with very small parts and builds.
And also a good camera...I need to see some good pics.

I'll share the build results here once we work out any kinks.

test buils

I will be happy to test build the JDAM & MHU110. If needed I will build them from cardstock (although most of my builds are from paper...).

Okay, here it is...the BIG UPDATE for those who still care LOL

This third Diorama Accessory Kit is done!

Munitions Trailer and JDAMs still to be test built...shouldn't be any issues (I hope)
mainly just to see a build and take some photos.

Just finished the last two kit additions* today,
and they still need to be test built.
If anyone is interested, please get in touch.
Otherwise I may just build 'em myself this weekend.

*Oxygen and Nitrogen Supply Carts.
These are small...with some pretty small parts.
But I kept the design as simple as possible.

The final tally for this third "Modern Era" Kit is about 36 models,
which includes:

Modern Airfield Accessories:
2 Hydraulic HiLift Jack Stands
2 Hydraulic Tripod Jack Stands
Jet Blast Deflector Panels - 2 Modular Sections
Aluminum Boarding Ladder
(8) Wheel Chocks
(4) 45 Gal. Fuel Drums
Aluminum Fuel Drum Drop Pallet with Drag Chute
“Huffer” Towed Jet Air Start Cart
GPU Towed Ground Power Unit
ECU Towed Electrical Cooling Unit
2 Maverick Missiles and Shipping Container Dolly
MHU-110 Munitions Trailer
3 GBU-31 JDAM Munitions
Oxygen Supply Cart
Nitrogen Supply cart

Modern Aircraft Carrier Accessories:
Modern Carrier Tug Tractor
Jet Start Unit Add-on (for above)
Modern Carrier Fire Response Tractor
Fire Equipment Add-on Unit (for above)
“Huffer” Towed Jet Air Start Cart (Low Clearance)

...hopefully next announcement will be a release!

Supply carts

Here are pictures of the test builds of the oxygen servicing cart (LOX cart) and the nitrogen servicing cart
(Nit cart (rhymes w/ light)). Both are different than what I usually build, because I needed a diversion, but they are aircraft related!

oh excellent! thanks Ray
that saves me having to post 'em!

These look pretty amazing for their size!
As usual, Ray has no problems dealing with small models.

(Ray? any chance you could snap one more quick photo?
Of both carts, in your hand, or with some frame of reference?
I am just curious as to their actual scale.)

The two Oxygen and Nitrogen carts are the final models of the Kit.
However I am still waiting on one more test build of the MHU-110 Trailer and JDAMs
(and if necessary, the required fixes or alterations)

Thanks Ray, for graciously offering to build that for me too!

I was hoping for a February release for this third Diorama Accessories kit,
but delays in the test builds have pushed that back probably to March now.
No problem...no point in releasing the Kit without testing.

Keep watching!

aim? how are you doing with that JDAM build?
Did you give it a second try?
