Busoramas...
I don't understand why you keep posting links to your retail models in my threads.
This is the third thread you have posted in.
And once again, it does not have any connection to my stuff.

Your figures have no connection to the 1/50 scale Airfield accessories in this thread!

Its also a little rude to keep trying to sell your own product in my topics.

Why don't you just post your own thread and advertise your own product?
I'm not interested in buying Luftwaffe pilots.
I don't even produce any German aircraft models!?
I don't get it?

Modern stuffs are more complicated though, they will bring in more sales than you can imagine. There's none on the market and the earliest bird catches the worm. I bet you have the business sense to consider it seriously. Whether it's modern or golden age, I'll be buying them.

you make a good point!
anything that pays for itself, helps me to continue in this hobby.

I'm always honest about this... retail stuff is as important to me as the fun stuff.

If I ever get back to more Airfield Accessories, I will definitely consider some Vintage AND Modern Civilian Airfield stuff.

Outstanding detail Dave. I noticed that on the JDAM page one of the carts tongue(sorry if the spelling is wrong) was showing where the yellow paint was worn away due to being hauled by a tug. Is that something you do? Very nice work. Love it. wc

hmmm I had to go look...

The yellow wear you are talking about, would be epoxy primer showing through
underneath chipped or worn green paint.
This is kind of the photorealistic detail I often try to add.

But...in this case, I am unsure of what you are seeing.
lol
sorry

I checked the model kit...
looked at the Munitions Trailer (flatbed, can be used for JDAM)
and also the smaller Munitions Tow on the following page,

and I don't see any yellow on the Trailer hitches?
no photo or artistic effects on there at all.
Just vector art, solid colours.
(see the attached images)

Have you been staring into that soothing California sunset again John?
Get a whiff of Sensomila blowing in from Meh-heeco?
Can you send me some?

Page 3, the cart of two on the left with the steel ruler. Great touch to make as if it was used a lot and the place I'm talking about is the part that a tug would hook up to tow. The yellow paint looks worn a bit. Very nice. wc

That would be the Liquid Oxygen cart (LOX).

I didn't build that particular model.
Might have been Ray (Texman).

Anway, the hitch is just yellow filled vector artwork.
I think its got black outlines.

And its a very small part of a very small model, so the outlines are going to be prominent.
And the white edges of the cut paper are showing inside the Hitch loop.

Probably just a trick of the photograph, making it look like paint is worn on the hitch.

But, glad you like the look!
Thanks

What ever it is it's this detail you guys have shown me on other builds when you made your comments and that is what I look for in a model. It's not the size or the coloring but the detail. Whether intentional or unintentional, this is where my eyes wonder to. You guys are all great teachers. wc

I'm with wadcutter on this one, I thought it was a worn look also. Great job on these.
