To be honest with you, I think any version you do would be okay with everyone.

I learned something new today.

I don't know the differences between them so I don't have a preference to which one, I'm sure I'll be ecstatic with which ever version you choose!

I would venture to guess there is plenty of interest in this scheme and would make your time worth (As much as papermodeling will allow anyway.).

I sure hope you do this one!
John.

yes, I also have a couple of these in mind from earlier suggestions
and it is my intent to do some, just haven't got around to it as of yet.

once the current things are done,
and the IPMC is done,
and whatever else has to get done is done...
I will put out some more Mustangs.

And you can do the first test build(s) for me.

among other things, I am going to try to do some new Mustangs.

I've already released the US Army Cavalier Mustangs
so that has got me started.

And now I have been reminded about "Big Beautiful Doll"
so that will be the next up...

I had already done some searching for reference...got a folder of stuff...
and I previously settled on Lander's Mustang with the 38th FS (55th FG).

As I said earlier, this period is an important one in Lander's service
and the overall paintscheme is a little easier to work.
I also questioned whether to follow suit with the last known paint scheme
which has been covered extensively in modeling already.

But...I have a problem...and a question...

I'm satisfied that the nose colours were green and yellow (not red and yellow)
but what is the tail colour?
According to web info, the recognition colour for the 38th FS is red.
And usually a full red painted rudder.

But, this aircraft had a (upper) half painted tail...

and profile artworks show it as green.

Anyone got a clue?
