Can hardly wait for the release of the Little Willie model - looks superb.

To continue the silliness - the next prototype tank, designed by Wilson, was known as "Big Willie" among other names. It went through numerous name changes to become "Mother" - the first rhomboid tank.

I'll leave it to those of a Monte Python turn of mind to imagine the conversation of the driver of Big Willie had when he got home to his wife.

Regards,

Charlie

Weighing in late with congratulations (and avoiding double entendres about willies of any size), Mike Scalingi and I sang our congratulatory duet together today.

I eagerly await Little Willie's production version arrival. This is a great contribution to the preservation of armored fighting vehicle history.

Thanks guys....

yeah I'm not sure how quickly i will get this thing ready.
I am already procrastinating about the Instruction pages!
lol
I am starting to forget how it all went together and its putting me off doing the
diagrams I have to do...but the more I keep putting it off, the more I am forgetting!

I took plenty of photos but its not as simple as referring to the pics since I built
some things out of sequence.

And with the other projects I am doing right now, its easy to say "I'll do it later".

Getting ready to pack this model up (to take it to the IPMS show) and I noticed that
I had forgotten to attach the side Lamp mounting brackets on the body.

The factory vehicle had two swivel mounted lamps up near the front of the vehicle
on either side.
These were apparently removed during testing according to the available photos.
And the Lamps are not present on the Museum displayed vehicle.
(However the bracketry is)

So, I made up the brackets and attached them.
I also made up some lamps, but did not install them.
I will include them in the kit, but leave it up to the builder.
(Installation will require some wire cradles be formed)

...

I also took a bunch of new photos on the mat (base) I created for display at the show.
Looks good I think.
