You might want to back that up a bit Dave......... There might be a missed backup file there. Are computers and software not marvellous?

computers...wonderful things...I hate them.
...Centurion Update... After updating the Centurion kits...and while working on the latest kit (Tri-Colour Camouflage) I came across a numbering error in the kit. The error is in my very first model (Canadian Cent.), so it transferred to the British (Green) and Israeli (Sand) models. The error has been fixed and the kits updated. But for anyone who already purchased a kit, heres the info: On page 74 (or maybe 75 in the brit kit?) you will notice a bunch of parts ...all numbered XX. (marked in yellow on the image below) This entire group of parts is the 50 cal. Machine Gun for the top of the Turret. The parts are numbered in the Instructions, but not on the actual Parts. The parts are easily identified from the Instruction sheet, so the numbers are really not that important. This error only affects the parts for the MG assembly, so it won't confuse anything else. ... An additional note: On the same page, you will find two parts that are both numbered #75. (indicated with orange below) This number is incorrect and has been removed. The parts are...well, to be honest I have no idea what they are. lol I recognize the part shapes. I remember using these parts. But I cannot remember where or how. They don't seem to appear in the instructions or on my built model. I have left them on the page in case someone figures out what they are for. But, I think they may have been from an earlier design and accidentally left there after I had changed some design elements. I believe the first part is related to the upper Machine Gun and the second (lower) part is associated with the Turret Hatches. These are not important parts, so no need to worry too much.

yeah, thats where my first (Canadian) tank scheme came from.
I already have all their stuff. I also have Don Dingwalls book, and he describes some paint and markings but all his photos are black and white. If you are pointing out the camouflage paint schemes, you will notice they are all Mk 10/11s...thats why I didn't do a camo paint scheme originally. Other than some later NATO stuff, I couldn't find camo'ed Mk.5s. The Acorn site has a full set of Centurion and other Military vehicle markings reference.

Hello Dave
I think im going to download the English version. Can not let a 1/16 pass my way without having it Just a question...I have a A3 printer, does it print ok on that size, or is it optimized for A4 sheets? |

Okay, I'm not that Dave, but I have done a couple of his Koolwheelz models blown up from Letter to 11 X 17. They are vector, not raster, so I think they should enlarge just fine

The Centurion kits are on A4 size page.
Obviously that prints easily onto Letter (with no margins). A3 is double A4...not twice the size, but double the A4 width. (You probably already know this) You could opt for printing two pages at a time but if it can't be done automatically then rotate the pages (landscape) to print two pages on each A3 (portrait) sheet. ... no Dave...I do not use only vector artwork in my designs. Many of the koolwheelz models have bitmap elements. And, the Brit Centurion model has a bitmap shading layer on most parts. (But it will still upscale quite well...the resolution is 300dpi)

I stand corrected. Usually when I enlarge something with bmp images, it kind of breaks up, but yours didn't.

Have just been looking through some photos of the AVRE Centurion.
I assume this is strictly a British thing? (Royal Engineers?) The first AVRE Cents were Mk.5s, so its doable from my kit. That 105mm and 165mm demolition gun is pretty scary looking. I'm just in research stage at the moment, looking for some detailed images explaining the mounting system upfront (for the dozer and other forward equipment). Not sure if its too much to do as a free add-on kit? I won't promise that just yet... but if there is any interest, and if it might generate a few more Tank kit sales... I think this is a later Mk. version, in beige colour, but the overall look is the same.

I have all four of your centurian kits. Would be willing to pay for the add-ons. Still working on the Canadian version. Almost finished with the tracks.
