For the upcoming IPMC, I plan to display "the old and the new".
I'm taking the Centurion along with Little Willie as a display of British Tanks fifty years apart.

I was planning on a larger display base for the two tanks,
but I just didn't have the time to focus on it.

I did however make up a pair of new bases for the models.
Just plain printed sheets, natural terrains...
and then mounted the sheets on black foamcore.

This Centurion is very difficult to pick up and move around.
I am constantly hitting, bending and breaking things off!
The flat rigid base is a pleasure to grab onto when moving the tank around.

I even added some 3D rocks.
You can see a few more photos here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsk4ghR8Q

I did a similar thing for the new and improved Little Willie tank.
The base sheets are almost the same size and shape...but not exactly.

I made them to fit the models, as tightly as possible
...it was just lucky that they came out near similar sizes.

I am exciting about seeing both of these models side by side at Sterling next week.

This has been an exceptionally interesting and worthwhile project. It's been an adventure to watch you design, test, correct, redo, and finally complete this historic model.

Hopefully there is some interest in a Sho't version of the Centurion?!

I have spent the last week working on an Israeli (IDF) repaint of the Centurion Tank.
It will hopefully be the first, but not the last, alternate paint scheme.
As I have mentioned before, I am also planning an Australian and British version.
Maybe a Swiss one too.

I just did a test print of a few parts, to check colours, textures, etc.
Unlike the Canadian Cent, this one will have a lot more surface colouring and weathering.

This will be a "Sho't Meteor" ...one of the very early IDF Centurions.
(Not the later "Sho't Kal" which has a number of modifications)

I would love to have the time to build one, so I could show off a built example
but you will just have to settle for the artist's rendition.

Anyone wanna build one for me? You get a kit for free.
Can ya have it done in a week?

Are you offering discounts for multiple version purchases?

are you saying you bought the Canadian Centurion and now you want the Israeli?
What about the Aussie or British versions (if they get made)?
or maybe you'll also want the Swiss one too?
lol...its never ending isn't it?!!

well, I do appreciate the business (thank you)
but ecardmodels sales are as they are.
Every new kit, is a "new" kit.
Every new purchase, is a new purchase.
Its not like this is an "add-on" or upgrade accessory.
Its a stand-alone kit.

If you purchase models by ordering through papermodelshop.com
then I always offer additonal discounts for volume orders.

However, purchases at papermodelshop are generally for the person
who wants to order multiple models all at once
...and get them delivered on a Disc (by Mail*)

*I will deliver the models by direct download if the customer wants
and I will waive the Disc fee.

On Disc orders I offer additional discounts depending on how many kits you order.
You get an additonal $1 off each model if you order 2-4 kits.
You get $2 off each model on 5-10 kits.
And you get $3 off each model on 11-15 kits.
etc
I can fit a lot of models on one disc, so it pays to fill it up!
