and work continues on the next Air Racer model today...another T6,
and after that, I'll give that zebra stripe 'Stang a try.
I'm still trying my hardest to avoid that Picasso that Ray posted.

...
in the meantime, heres a sneak peek at another Mustang Air Racer that will be added to the set...

I finished this one some time ago, it was a special request from my friend Shane.
And he took the first copy to do a test build for me.
This is the plane, #5...circa 1966

and more info here: Pylon1 - Photo Gallery - Race #5 N7715C - 1966

Unfortunately Shane has had some computer issues and the build has been delayed.
But he sent me a photo today which confirms all I need to know
and now I can close up this package.

So, this Mustang will be added to the "Air Racers" collection
and there should be plenty to choose from!

I will hopefully do a fund raiser at the end of August or sometime in September...
make all the Air Racer models available to pick from
and offer up some group packages as a fundraiser.
I want to maintain the exclusivety of the kits, so I won't be putting them into ecardmodels.

Thanks everyone, for showing a big interest in this.

This is right up my alley. I like planes with unusual paint jods.
It's going to be a busy winter.

Kind of like the wreck on the freeway, you don't want to look,
but you can't help yourself!

I knew you couldn't resist doing it!

Shane just sent me a more up to date photo
of the #5 air racer Mustang...that I just had to post!

note the new Spinner design?

I put out these (Spitfire based) spinners as a mod for the P51D Mustang kits.
I felt they were much smoother and better shaped than the spinner currently in my Mustang kits.
However, they are a little trickier to build...4 parts instead of three, and one very small part.
But I think the end result is worth it, so these will become a permanent modification
for all future Mustang kits.

I'll let everyone know when the builds done and ready to display. It's built like the other kits that Dave has offered. I went with glossy photo paper and it's . . . . . . . well it's been interesting. This is only my second attempt at anything other than the fiddlers green kits. And my second airdave kit all together. I want to thank him for letting me do the first build on this one.

Aldo Dave wonder if these Fiddlersgreen kits might spark some more interest?

well, to jump from an FG kit to this one, is quite the jump.

but apparently that jump has been very easy for you.

That #5 racing looks pretty cool in the black and orange. Almost a Harley Davidson theme going on that one.
