I was watching BBC America yesterday morning and saw a short piece on the unveiling. There will be an app made available that will allow you to go along for the ride, so to speak. During the LSR attempt, you'll be able to monitor the dash guages and view from the windscreen right on your smartphone. Pretty cool.

Liking the sound of the app. Can you post details when it's launched.

I'm not sure if it's a new app, or a new feature of the existing app that's available at the iTunes App store - Bloodhound SSC augmented reality. If you want to keep up to date, the link for the Bloodhound website is BLOODHOUND SSC

There is a store at the Bloodhound site were you can obtain various souvenir type stuff. One of the items is a "slot together" card model - a center keel and a bunch of formers. One side of the keel is an outside view of the car, and the other side is a cutaway showing the inner workings. It'll be 2 foot long when assembled. Price is @ $15 + another @ $7.50 for shipping.

The Bloodhound (gang) should contact Dave and use his model as promotional material - also some income for his great work (s).

willing to participate

airdave,
I would really like to see a cylon tos raider and maybe you could clean this up enough to list as a cool wheels space craft,... a micro martian war machine I made for McHale as a gamer piece. if I can draw a basic one and you modify it into a rally cool one, I would gladly just take a mention of the idea for basic shapes or something and let it roll! only because I want to carry on the tradition of giving artists credit. I wouldn't even care if there was no mention. someone thought I stole their ebay image of it. all I did was show a tiny thumbnail of a 2006 framed picture to give an idea of what the model should look like when assembled. I just thought it was a clear image of the thing instead of a movie still. the drawing was done by me in ms paint.
it is only 1 inch square!!! pretty good for such a tiny thing I think!!

Think I'll just stick with Dave's one, which I'm currently struggling to build at 1/4 size. It's not the design giving me problems, it's my damaged fingers, but I WILL get there eventually. I've finished the Indian, Super Truck and Deora in 1/4 size, but I'm holding off on the pictures 'till I get Bloodhound and the Bud Rocket finished.
