I've been following the Bloodhound project this year.
For those of you that don't know, the Bloodhound SSC project went into financial lockdown...receivership.
I guess the main issue was running out of money...there were debts of 25 million British Pounds.
The program was officially scrapped at the end of 2018 with plans to sell off whatever they could.

But earlier this year another individual and organization stepped in and purchased the entire project.
The car has be renamed Bloodhound LSR.
Work and testing immediately resumed and first test runs in South Africa go next month!
WOOHOO!

............................
And then, of course, the North American Eagle crash this week.
And the loss of the very cool Jessi Combs.
She really was amazing.
I've watched her entire career unfold on TV shows like Overhaulin' and Mythbusters
and then into car racing and speed records

.............................

First thing you notice about the "new" Bloodhound, is the new colours and paint scheme on Bloodhound.
I immediately broke out my Koolwheelz model and started "repainting"!
yes, I will be releasing some new Koolwheelz models in 2020, and this will be one of them!

It looks like the car will be staying white with red accents,
and employ the new Bloodhound logo.
Sponsorship options are listed on their website and the placement locations are all shown.
There appears to be new Tail art (a stylized Union Jack) ...which I don't like, to be honest.

Do I wait...until the car appears in its final configuration...years from now, when it finally makes its record setting runs?
Or maybe I copy the look later this year when it starts making its test runs?

Should I be concerned about sponsor logos? or leave them off entirely?
Bloodhound SSC had an annoying problem (for modellers) of sponsors logos changing every time the car appeared in public.
But some of the sponsorship logos look very cool.

....
Very sad to hear about Jessi's accident and the loss of the Eagle.
No disrespect to those guys, but I hope this doesn't delay the Bloodhound work.
I really want to see Bloodhound go!
