One final thing...I was planning to make these a while back, and forgot all about them.
Yesterday I remembered...the external Fire extinguishers.

These are small one time use bottles.
The instructions on the bottles tell the user to remove and hold the cylinder upside down
and "strike squarely on hard surface" to start the extinguisher jet spray.

Anyway, they are quite small, so I kept them as simple as possible,
but its still a tricky part to deal with.
Another one of those 'optional' parts I guess.

And...two Fire Extinguishers installed on the model.

I'd buy a Morris Quad - the iconic tow vehicle for the 25 Pounder gun.
Just need to persuade someone to design a 1/25 25 Pounder and limber.
Regards,
Charlie
Just like with my KoolWheelz models, my inspiration is usually something from my childhood or a personal interest.
In this case, I built Airfix and Frog kits when I was young.
And I remember a couple of trips back to England in the very early 70s,
where I visited Hobby Shops and bought new plastic kits and diecast toys with my own money.

For some reason the Airfix Quad model has been stuck in my mind even though I never owned this kit.
(I was mainly into aircraft models at that time)
But the kit I remember was a Quad...with a Field Gun.
Not a Field Gun with a Quad!
LOL Maybe it wasn't an Airfix?

But thats okay.
I love the look of this vehicle...
and if things went well, and a model was designed in a reasonable amount of time,
I might just consider adding the Gun Trailer.

And, it has a Canadian connection...so I can maybe produce a Canuck version for my Canadian fans!
I'll need to learn more about the Morris and Ford Quads.
Take off, eh!

You have one guaranteed advance sale (two counting Charlie, and maybe three counting Johnny).

Super Dave I can't help very much with the running out of room space for your models but can we go to another subject? I was just watching some 3-D photos taken on Mars by the Rover and I got a crazy idea. Can you take a 3-D photo of your model and display it here to view? You know me, just another crazy idea. Thanks for putting up with me. wc

Consider this a public pre-order from me.

John, I have been collecting 3D Anaglyph Images for a very long time.
And when I got on the internet, I started collecting found images
and I now have a very large collection of 3D photos.

And then, a few years ago, I started making my own 3D Anaglyphs.
I found some software that would help me create Anaglyphs.
I did a couple from digital photos...took 2 pictures at slightly different angles and created a 3D image.
But sometimes, you only have one image...so I created them digitally.
I started with one normal image and created a shift image that could be used as the right or left 3D image.
It takes a lot of work.
Then I use a 3D software to combine them and create the Anaglyph.

Here are some that I created:

Click on an image to make as big as possible...and you will need those red/blue glasses.

Yes, I would like to try to create some more...its just a time consuming thing.
But maybe that now I have a new DSLR, I can try some.
Leave it with me.

Floor drooping incredible Super Dave. I really think you should post your models with 3-D. I found a free app through my cell phone but as of yet I haven't used it but maybe after seeing the great photos you took, maybe I will. The 4x4 post in your garden looks like I could reach out and touch the damn thing. Thanks Dave for sharing and giving my idea a think for posting maybe one day. Extremely outstanding. wc

Why is the green colour different, in two tones of green, on the Saladin?
Maybe it's a stupid question but m just curious.
