Rear wheels are on and air brakes are folded and glued. I will install them tomorrow. I have down loaded Ver 3 but I don't know where to find the assembly instructions.

And . . . done! I had a great time building this model. In the first picture, the Tumbler is tumbled while the glue dries. The second picture shows it completed (and better focused). One egregious error: I managed to get the seam for the left front tire neatly centered on the top, not the bottom (though the sidewall coloring is oriented correctly). I'm leaving it that way I had a few delays during the building process, but made up the time at the end. I think this is the only version of the Tumbler I plan to build -- other models in my "to build" pile are demanding their turn on the workbench in between KoolWheelz lessons. I'm trying to imagine a scenario in which the Mystery Machine, the Bluebird, and the Batmobile encounter each other (other than on my workbench). Many thanks, again, Dave, for all your effort in putting these lessons together for us to enjoy.
Have a great cruise, Col. Don! |

Tumbler Complete
With a few flaws. Especially the cranked near front wheel as a result of having scored the wheel mounts. I may try another one.
The Liberty ship cruise was cancelled due to heavy rain, but I captured a shot of the ship tied up at the Maryland Cruise Terminal at Port Covington on my way back tot he hotel. Nonetheless, it was fun being back in the part of Baltimore that I spent so much time in during the 1950s, exploring the dock and rail yards and taking photographs. In lieu of the cruise, Don3 and Lil and I visited the Baltimore Museum of Industry, one of my favorite places and well worth a visit. Home — The Baltimore Museum of Industry We also had a crab feast in Fells Point (another 1950s hangout of mine) and ended the day eating sushi and watching the Orioles lose 7-3 to New York. Do you intend to do another tutorial build, Dave? Don |

Dave,
Just checked the links for the 3rd gen and camo tumbler. The black tumbler is invalid, and the camo tumbler downloads the black 3rd gen tumbler.
