In picture 11, should it be the tow hitch instead of anchor? I have no idea, poor vocab. lol!!
Kevin, thanks, 1/400 or 500? Probably not as I don't have any jetliner at this scale.
I have some at 1/1000 but then it would be too micro nano to notice that the tug is there.

Great...thanks papermate!
...unfortunately, I have a few corrections to your method and build.
I appreciate the step-by-step, but its not exactly to my methods.
(I will need to add more details to the assembly diagrams!)

Photo 1...Your chassis cross brace isn't square enough (up and down)
and it needs to be (as indicated in the assembly diagram).
I made a mistake by marking the wrong side (as the TOP).
This caused you to install the cross brace part upside-down.
Sorry about that.

Photo 2...cutting out the arches afterwards is a VERY good idea!
Those corner areas of the body are very thin.

Photo 4...that small section of diamond plate, is not a glue tab.
(Thats why it has diamond plate artwork)
It covers and fills the gap at the end of that insert assembly.

Photo 5...these tabs are not part of the model.
I didn't think tabs were really needed here...but the builder is free to add anything!
I just put a little glue on the edges of the chassis and pressed the body panels to contact.
This holds the sides of the body in place.

Photo 7...some people prefer no glue tabs at all...just edge gluing.
So...there are no edge/folding tabs on this model.
I included separate glue tabs (that mount from behind) to make sure the connections are all flush and square.
At this scale, if you overlap tabs, the thickness of card will severely distort the shape of things.
Folded over tabs will seriously affect the dimensions and shape of the assemblies.

Photo 11...the mirrors are installed incorrectly.
Once again, I say refer to the assembly diagram.
(Your right side mirror, is also upside down)

Photo 13...I added center references for installing axles.
A 2mm axle (wooden toothpick) works good.
However, I also indicated "up" for all the wheel faces.
My artwork gives a 3D effect, but only if the wheels are fixed (in the correct position).
I prefer to glue my wheels in place...non rotatable.

You also assembled the Hitch Plates incorrectly, but thats probably my fault again.
My assembly diagram doesn't show it clearly.
The plates areto be separated into two plates (each two layers) and positioned one upper and one lower, with a gap in-between.

Thanks for your clarification. Your coming instruction diagrams should put things straight.

Your build is somewhat twisted and askew.
I believe this is because you did not use my internal glue tabs
(and added your own edge folding tabs).
As I said, at this scale (1/100), the thickness of the card is enough
to severely offset the connections and skew the shape of the body.
My Tug is much straighter and less twisted because I used the internal tabs. IMO

You will also notice the smaller 1/144 version (in my photos).
I went with a much simpler construction which can be reduced even further with less headache.

Wheels and chass are 2D...part of the body sides...
and the whole body is only three parts.
The Cab is now part of the body sides.
The only extra detail parts are the Hitch plates and the front headlight strip (1 part).

You can easily add more details though.
I added a roof beacon lamp using a slice from a toothpick (painted orange).
And the 'box' detail on the rear deck, is just two layers of card.

yeah, okay...I'll give it a try.

But I don't think its gonna print well enough to see.
At least not the 1/1000

I might be able to work with the 1/500...

Maybe I shouldn't have used 100 gsm paper.

My Tugs are all built with 176gsm card.
Even the 1/144 scale.

I believe the full detail tug would be buildable at 1/144

so...the Challenge was accepted.

I came...I saw...I conquered.

The smallest scale included in the kit will be the simplified 1/144 version.
And this is the smallest Pushback Tug (I think) that will be in the collection.

Lets try it at 1/300...I skipped 1/200 for obvious reasons.
Not too hard at all, as long as you got strong magnifiers and tweezers.
Unfortunately I dropped it while setting up the photo and crushed the side of the cab with my steel ruler.

hows about we go a little smaller?
...its a challenge now!!

and, who says it can't be done?!!!
oh...I did...
lol
its not very good at this scale.
And I didn't try to cut out the wheels.

Ahhh, you didn't read the challenge correctly..."full detail tug" not the simplified version.

However, I am still mighty impressed with the small scale builds! Nice work.
