Ohhh, sorry. I made the challenge, I specified "full detail". I win!
Great work my friend! That tug on your finger is, and this comes from a small scale modeler, awesome. Of course, with out a closeup, it could be a piece of yellow rice for all we know.... P.S. - pulling your finger would lose it again

Ok, that's just plain sick. LOL. Guess you CAN make a tow vehicle for what, 1/500 scale. Amazing !!!

1/300 is quite doable with the less complicated version.
1/500 is really not very good. Even the printing is poor at that level. So, I can't really recommend it. 1/1000 is a joke. I couldn't even see the fold lines...there are six of them on the center body strip. I just had to guess where they were. And my scoring tool is almost 1mm thick so that made it even tougher! lol Just for fun, I wanted to see if the printer could print something that small. Thats the main reason I tried it. And I admit, I was pleasantly surprised at what I got, even if its not really builable.

Between other projects I am still fiddling with this one... but before I move on to the next piece of Airport Equipment, I wanted to deal with an obvious accessory. The long Two Bar thingy that goes behind these Tugs I just built. Obviously some aircraft require a tow bar extension and this thing looks fairly common on the tarmac. But at this scale, it presents a real problem to include (as a paper model). I chose one of the largest Tow Bars, with its own suspended wheels. And its still very small at 1/100 and 1/144. The main Tube is only about 1.5 mm diameter (1/100) Too tight for me to roll as a tube...and a bit too flimsy anyway. I used a 1.5mm ABS (plastic) rod and wrapped some small paper parts around it. The Hooks/Connectors are just about impossible to build and make functional. I think I'll include some of the basic (very small) parts and a diagram of how it all assembles. And give instructions to use a tube or rod of the necessary length/diameter. (Just colour it white or yellow and wrap the paper parts)

WOW, at 1/100? Way beyond my skill and ability. Nice work Dave.

Still working on Airport Equipment...
haven't personally built all the versions and sizes of this one yet but here is a Baggage Cart and Tractor. Shown is the 1/100 scale build with the basic Chassis. I've also provided a two-part chassis with full 3D wheels. There is also a 1/144 version of the Tractor and Cart with a more simplified construction. My "test builder" is also working on these, so I'll add his report sometime. ... Also... this particular Mobile Staircase was a direct request of my "test builder". It seemed a pretty daunting task to simplify and create this in miniature paper, but eventually I figured out a design that I was happy with. Once again, I have created two versions...1/100 and 1/144 scale. The 1/144 scale has a slightly simplified chassis, but the Staircase assembly is basically the same. I couldn't figure out a working Staircase, so I created two options: retracted or extended. Build it whatever way you wish. there are also two chassis types, one with 3D wheels, the other with more simplified box construction and 2D wheels. I built the 1/100 scale versions...both extended and retracted Staircases... but I used the full chassis and the simplified chassis to show the differences. My "test builder" also has these models.

I'm about to get up close and personal with modern airport fueling equipment. If they allow me to take pictures, want some for reference?
