I go through the same thing, Open a file, stare at it for a few minutes unable to figure out how to advance it, the close it in frustration. Then, usually at 3am for me, inspiration strikes.

So, I'm still trying to get back into gear with this project...
I have been playing with page layouts for the stuff I have already designed.

This has led to me finishing a couple of things on the Fire and Rescue trucks.
Primarily a new design for the overhead boom.

I liked my first design, but it was small and complicated.
Tricky at 1/100...maybe not ideal for smaller scales.
I wanted something a bit simpler.
And, it still needed the Piercing Nozzle attachment at the end of the Boom.

So, this is what I got...
Just three parts, with a few easy folds and bends.
This should still be buildable at smaller scales than 1/100

So, now I can finish the layouts for the Fire/Rescue truck pages
and move on to the next vehicle.
Hopefully keep this going...

as long as I don't get sidetracked by more Koolwheelz models!!

Glad to see that you've decided to keep this project going; that looks great!

Another very nice little model, Dave.

Dang, I was only about 10 feet from one of those today.

Due to the excessive heat here, and the planes sitting in that heat for an hour or two or three, the fuel in the wings expands. If it's a long distance flight and the wings have full tanks, the fuel expands beyond their capacity to hold it and ends up spilling out onto the ground. Which of course requires cleanup. And the big red crash truck sitting nearby in case a fire starts.

---bumpity bump!---

Still working on these.
Been trying to finish a Container Loader.

But having trouble staying focused on it.
Eventually I'll get it sorted and move on to another vehicle.
I just don't want to put it aside, because then it may never get done!
