I don't supply Instructions or Assembly Diagrams for every model.
Some models are pretty straightforward and the photos on the Model Sheets usually provide enough information.

Some models require a bit more explanation and so I add diagrams on the Model Sheet ...if theres room.
If there isn't enough room, I create a separate Assembly sheet.

Assembly sheets can be downloaded for free...there is a section on my Forum just for KoolWheelz Assembly.

I did not create a separate Assembly sheet for the Aston Martin
because I thought it was easy to figure out...
but I have since added a couple of Build Tip images to assist builders.
These can also be found in the KoolWheelz Assembly section.

I found the construction notes and image of the model to be very helpful, especially the sequence of gluing up the body. The little line drawings clearly showed the way the model goes together.

You didn't choose to use the Bullet Screen?
Obviously its an optional item.
But you really need to cut the slot before folding the body part anyway.

The original DB5 makes an appearance in Skyfall.
But it gets destroyed...shot up mercilessly, near the end of the film [spoiler-sorry].
The car that is destroyed is actually a Porsche 928 with CGI overlays.
They also use a miniature scale model.
It is unbelivable realistic and lifelike...but only about 1/3 scale.

AND...you can buy one of the same scale models built by Aston!
Its mostly a 3D printed model...and Aston Martin sells them for £28,000

I did not choose to install the bullet screen. I thought it detracted from the appearance of the model car.

Looking forward to the Capri and Audi. Last year I seriously contemplated buying a 2011 Audi A4 with standard transmission, but in the end I decided to keep my 17-year-old Subaru Forester. Just put green duct tape over the hole in the rear quarter panel.

I like the Capri. Thanks for the optional tire treads.

Can I assume that the sequence of gluing up the body parts is essentially the same as for the Aston-Martin?

The Aston benefits from attaching those rear panel tabs first,
and then starting at the front edge of the roof and working rearwards.
Finishing the bonnet and nose last.

The Capri doesn't have the stepped rear section, or any peculiar angles.
There aren't even have any curved sections.

It doesn't matter too much where you start on this one.
The attachment of side body panels to center body strip is much more straightforward.

However, (on most model cars like this) I have a preference of starting at the roof sections .
Then I work forwards and backwards at the same time.
Always trying to line up those roof corners precisely for best results.

Another one complete. Another one very well designed for easy assembly and realistic appearance.

Can't wait for the Audi.

Now, this is a very interesting story. I never knew the Capri was sold outside Europe. It was one of my childhood favourites.
I will build the model as soon as my present project is finished.

Story behind this one is that in the late 1970-ies cars like the Capri, BMW 320 or Porsche were heavily modified and raced in a class named "Group 5" that may be roughly comparable to the american Stock Car Races. We kids loved them!

Capris were raced over here too.
We have all the same road racing...not just stock car.
I fell in love with Capri's for that reason.

The Group 5 racers were the Zakspeed cars.
Capris have always been modified and raced in many other series,
but I think Zakspeed was the only team running Capris in the FIA sanctioned series.

North America isn't only Nascar and Indy you know!?
