Maybe it's a glitch with my computer, Dave, but it is still shown as "Coming Soon."

I posted at 8.28 pm here...after I posted at my forum
...and that was after I had unlocked the mediafire download.
So, I don't know what to say.
Maybe you just rushed
...and didn't even give your computer a chance to take a breath (clear its cache)
or something?

LOL Maybe if you guys slowed down a little?

All is well

The Johnnycab must have completed its journey through the ewigkeit during the night. I was able to download it this morning. Thanks, Dave.

omg will you slow down?!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

...
looks good Don, as usual.
Looks extra good on its little base!
Did you apply the three layers to that roof strip? Thats what I did.

Entirely optional...but you can add more card layers to build up that central roof section a bit more.
The actual vehicle has a distinctly raised section that was difficult to include at this scale.
I decided to keep it simple with the layered effect.
Unfortunately, the model sheet has only so much room...hence only three layers.
But, as I said, you can add (if you want to) more card layers for a taller effect.

...
Note to all, the Roof Light is an illuminated tube with a red lens at the top,
and orange/yellow at the bottom.
Try to position it as level as possible between the brackets
...half and half...with the red up top, and yellow down bottom.

I noticed Don's is slightly rotated so as to show a bit more red to the front,
and more yellow light to the rear.
Just wanted to point that out, because it may not be indicated on the model sheet.
(Although the photos should show the position)
A very minor observationl....I'm definitely not picking on Don's build.

Wait a second!...let me take that back!!...my apologies Don!!

After writing that last post, and making a comment about the Johnnycab Roof Light,
I noticed something in the photo I posted earlier.
This photo, below.

See the Roof Lights?

So, I went back through some of the reference photos of the Johnnycabs...

there were about 6 Johnnycabs built...all a little bit different.
For example, one has a vent grille on the front (hood) of the car...the others don't.
There are a number of small differences.

And it looks like the Roof Lights vary a little bit too.
Obviously, one is red and yellow (top and bottom).

But another is black and yellow, with the yellow on top!!

I never noticed this, even though I looked at many photos while designing this model.
And although my version is correct...it makes my criticism of Don's build less correct.

I think the black and yellow light makes more sense...matches the side stripes!

Feel free to place your Roof Light in whatever position you desire!!
Feel free to colour the red part black, and turn it upside down if you like!

Just wanted to own up to my mistake.
Carry on.

I knew it was supposed to be red on top, but it rotated itself a bit while I was assembling it.

I often find that parts of paper models do things contrary to my intentions as I build.

And there are three layers to the roof strip, but not perfectly aligned. See previous sentence.

Audi! Audi! Audi!

I assumed the roof light strip would rotate and illuminate the topmost colour to indicate if the cab as for hire or not - the red strip being 'not for hire', so orientation is up to what state you want the cab to be in.
