Looks like the Milkman ran into the Bread Truck this morning
and bent that back Fender a little! lol

Not to worry...that chassis is definitely a tricky assembly.
I built my own prototype twice!... because of a "crunch and bend" event.

Looks all good in the paper scheme of things to me.
Thank you for giving it a go.

I love the blue tint to the Bottle parts...my print came out a lot more gray.
Must be a printer setting.

Build Tip for all:
I can't stress the importance of pre-folding, pre-shaping, pre-fitting.
This is one of those models where pre-shaping a part is more important than ever.
Curve and shape the Fender parts until they stay in the correct shape without gluing.
Pre-shaping the upper surfaces, makes attaching the side panel a whole lot easier.

Continuing on with October's KoolWheelz releases...

I came down with the Flu or something last night, so I am in a terrible mood and feeling awful,
so I don't apologize if I mistype something...

The next release is the AM General Humvee!!

I know a lot of you already guessed this one from its silhouette (and I tried to mislead you, sorry).
lol some zealot will probably twist that sentence into some negative comment! lol "oh look, airdave admits misleading everyone!"

So, why another Humvee model you ask?

Find out...AM General Humvee here: http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/599405-post2029.html

Just in case the repainters want to get a head start on the beer bottle conversion of the Milk Truck

It seems they used a Citroen 2CV as the donor car

I've been collecting pre-prohibition era bottle cap and label images. My son put in a request for a PBR version

Milk Truck and Friends

Somewhat belatedly, and learning from Doug and Michael, I have completed the milk truck (not a tank truck, but resembles one).

My only modification was to add inside surfaces to the wheels.

May be a while before I can work on the Humvee.

On another topic, the current issue of the Times Literary Supplement contains a review of Bladerunner 2049: https://www.the-tls.co.uk/articles/p...e-runner-2049/

Thanks, Dave. I always find these Assembly Diagrams useful, and I admire the drawings.

I just discovered that what I thought were strengthening tabs to be folded over and glued are actually attachment tabs, which should have been obvious.

Humvee

A very nice model.

In the images, the left rear wheel is slightly off the ground and the air filter is canted slightly forward. I have since corrected both glitches, but not much I can do about the schmutz on the left rear tire.
