I'd never have guessed that one.

Very nice work on the Humvee, Dave.

The next one is interesting. I don't care to build it, but look forward to seeing the builds by others.

I finished up the Man From U.N.C.L.E Piranha. A nice change of pace from my tank project, and not too bad a distraction. It came out as a pretty little car -- I wouldn't mind driving one. Herewith, some pictures. It's small!

Yes, it is small. In all the stills I could find of it, it was less than belt high to everyone. Kind of a fun build wasn't it?

Nicely done

Anne - It would look well next to your Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weenie Yellow Paper Lamborghini.

I finished mine too (or should that read 'My two' ?) ....

Well what with Mikey pumping it up x 10, I thought I could easily do a x4 shrink. It just shows how good a design the original was.

Mind you, tellin' the printer to shrink it was easy, but actually building the dang thing was a nightmare. Even the bigger one was quite difficult to build. Some really nice side and nose shaping designed in there Dave.

Right, let's see what I can do with the Bottle.

More pieces and this thing could have been better shaped.
but once I try to simplify things down to a single part, the shape is gonna get distorted.

In this case, I couldn't get it down to less than three parts for the body
and I still had to introduce that split in the front fenders.
The roof line is a bit low and the nose rises up a tad.

I think it showcases the abilities of the builder more than anything.
You guys keep proving to yourselves that you can build these things,
no matter how wonky I make them! lol

...
John, I dont understand why you punish yourself?
Especially when you claim to have troubles building.
LOL

Simple case of I'm determined to make these dang fingers work like they used to, or die trying. I'm four weeks into a 'Let's see what Mother Nature can do unaided?' stage right now. ALL medication is ceased, and the pain in my feet is excruciating, but there IS a noticeable overall improvement happening. I've even pulled the ol' guitar out of the cupboard and restrung it, but I think it's gonna be some time yet before I can play it proficiently again.
