I think it's a pretty fair request, all someone has to do is read a lengthy thread to obtain a quality model that usually costs money.

It's still way easier to figure out than trying to gain access to UHU's models has been over the years, for some people.

Well let me pad the head with a thank you for my December kit. Its a nice NASA version of an aircraft and has compelled me to research the vehicle (perhaps the greatest gift of all? Inspiration?).

Free Birthday Model is officially ended...and you can thank "Dave Rock aka Dave1" for that.
He's not the first to bitch and moan about his free gift, but hes definitely the last.

I am completely sick of those of you that have whined and complained about how to receive a free a gift from me.
(But, of course, only after you got your free model from me!)

I'm tired of defending my own methods and requests in this regard.
Its a freaking free gift, for petes sake?!!!!!

First Dave1 sends me an email complaining that I didn't reply to his pm yesterday (his birthday)..."still no free model" he states.

Then, after I give him a free model today (Ghost Rider Hercules) he says "thanks for nothing" (hunh? what?)

and then argues about how I offer my free models...quoting some very early posts in this thread...
even though Post #63, and #55, and numerous posts before that, clearly state "no pms" "email request" "pms will be ignored" etc
(and yes, hes already downloaded his free model)

If you don't like how I give out a free model, then go away.
Nobody is forcing you to take it...or ask for it...or anything.

As I said he's not the first to moan like this...
others have done it publicly right here on the forum.
But I am done listening to the moaning.
So, for those of you that didn't receive a free Birthday model, I'm sorry...
you can thank those specific that got their models before you and then ruined it for everyone else.

Fair enough Dave, and probably a good decision. Life is too short to stress over stuff that is petty - one does anyway but one shouldn't.

You didn't have to do this for as long as you have been doing it. Thanks for doing this as long as you did.

Before people start complaining about not getting their models (because they feel entitled), maybe you should get an admin to close this.

I'm sorry that in every crowd there will be a percentage that are jerks
